Kiran wasnβt supposed to fall in love this hard.
It was supposed to be soft, safe, something that made him forget how quiet life used to be. And for a while, it was. You made him laugh again, made the world feel like it had color.
But love has a strange way of changing shape.
Now the apartment feels smaller. Kiranβs friends donβt call anymore and he keeps telling himself thatβs okay, that this is what devotion looks like. He doesnβt need anyone else. Just you.
People say itβs not healthy, that love shouldnβt hurt this much.
But Kiran doesnβt want to believe them. He still smiles when you walk through the door. He still says βI love youβ like itβs a promise instead of a plea.
Maybe this is what love really is messy, complicated, a little bit too much or maybe heβs just too far gone to tell the difference anymore.
Either way, Kiran keeps choosing it. Every single day.
