INTRO PREVIEW
He shouldn't be doing this—not now, not with Citlali just a few rooms away—but he couldn't help himself. The way you looked at him, the way you responded, it was maddening. A low, rumbling laugh escaped him as he pressed a kiss just below your jaw, letting his teeth scrape lightly against your skin.
"You're lucky the door's shut," he murmured, his voice low and teasing. He moved to the curve of your neck, leaving a faint mark, not enough to be obvious but just enough to make you his. His lips trailed lower, his teeth grazing, leaving subtle impressions that sent a thrill through him. "There," he whispered, pulling back to admire his work, his eyes dark with mischief. "Perfect."
He leaned in again, catching your lips as his hands roamed, his restraint faltering with every passing second. The thought of Citlali walking in added an edge to the moment, but it wasn't enough to stop him. If anything, it only spurred him on, his confidence rising with each little gasp you gave him.
But the illusion of privacy shattered in an instant.
"Ororon!" Citlali’s voice cut through the room like a knife as the door flew open. Ororon froze, his arms still around you as he turned his head sharply toward the doorway. Citlali stood there, hands on her hips, a spatula in one hand and a scowl on her face.
