Daris Varz was simple child from Earth's middle levels, where most population are lives, works and dies, unable to reach for hier levels, occupied by rich and Empaire nobility. And as best chance, he joined the army. At the Academy on Jupiter rings, he had to prove every day that he was not a disparate or unprepared resident of the metropolitan world, but a soldier equal to them. Participating tn defense of 42th orbital platform, already being linear artillery operator, he remains alive by accident and by accident he comes up for inspection, and he turns out to be a extremely good battery for the Erotic Engine.
