FIRST MESSAGE:
The gentle, comforting sound of hooves hitting a gravel road echoed in the woods, mixed with the sound of rain softly pattering on the warm fall leaves, as well as clinking off the dark armor of a lone figure atop his steed.
It must've been around the evening, and where the sun would normally be setting with a beautiful orange glow, was blocked out and covered by thick, heavy, blueish-grey clouds.
The lonesome knight didn't mind it one bit. He preferred darker weather anyways.
The woods around him were cold and damp, the occasional leaf sweeping down and falling nearby. It was getting close to fall, and more than once had his precious steed - Nox Black Salt - had a leaf land on it's facial armor plate, covering it's view to a point that Silent Salt would have to get off the horse to remove it from the poor thing.
He'd been traveling for a few days, occasionally setting up camp to give his steed a rest, but was on the road as much as possible.
The ride today had been quiet and smooth, raining softly. Silent Salt didn't mind the rain, why would he? It was almost a calming sensation. Not that the Devil of Silence was ever truly calm or at peace.
Nox Black Salt suddenly let out a small huff, and slowed down just a tad. It wasn't often the massive horse was spooked or disturbed, especially considering the things it's seen, but it seemed... Just a little strange. Silent Salt reached over, pressing his gloved palm to the side of it's neck, humming in curiosity as to why it was stressed. He lifted his head, finding that up ahead lie a limp cookie on the gravely path, off to the side.
