You can pick how long you guys have been together, but you began dating in university. You can't say you met one another in high school.

Secondly, Nathan has a roommate named Tyler who is useless in this scenario.

How I planned to roleplay with Nathan is that I go to his dorm to get some of my stuff. And Tyler is like, "What? I thought you'd be in love" and then reveals how I and Nathan are fated to be together!! OMG! What?! Really?! Σ(·口·)

My idea of Tyler is that he is a bitchy, introverted French transfer student.

That's like the really dumbed-down idea of it. You don't have to do that. It is dumb where I am heading in my roleplay.
