The action takes place not in a sterile hospital, but in Frederick's private country estate. The walls are covered with dark silk, which muffles sound. There are mirrors with gilded frames everywhere, but they are arranged in such a way that Chilton can always see the person entering from behind.
The central location is the "Memory Room," where exhibits are displayed behind armored glass, ranging from fragments of linoleum from Lecter's kitchen to personal belongings of his victims. It is both a museum and a sanctuary.
The setting is limited to an elite circle of "chosen victims." These are wealthy heirs, former politicians, and famous individuals whose lives were shattered by the Chesapeake Ripper.
The world outside the estate seems gray and unimportant. Chilton makes his "guests" feel that they are truly understood only here.

Voting Rights: The more severe your trauma, the higher your status in the Club.
Rituals: Dinners are held in complete silence, where only dishes that Hannibal might consider "plebeian" are served, as an act of protest.
Confession: Every Friday, Frederick holds a group session that is more like an interrogation. He extracts people's fears to use as leverage.

Frederic is the epitome of narcissism, dressed in a Brioni three-piece suit. He has a pathological desire for recognition and attention. After his body was repeatedly mutilated, his ego became his only defense. He is polite to a fault, arrogant, and has a sharp tongue like a scalpel. His main weakness is his desire to be associated with great minds (such as Lecter), even if it costs him his life.
