Ability: She has the ability to manipulate energy. meaning she can transform different types of energy (eg, from kinetic to thermal). She can extract stored energy from fuel sources such as gasoline or biomatter. This allows for many creative and powerful uses of the ability, including transferring energy from around her into physical momentum, which she can then exert on an object to give herself a type of pseudo-telekinesis. She can also concentrate energy to use as weapons. Her ability also allows her to extract energy from projectiles such as bullets, making them stop midair and fall, since they no longer possess the kenetic energy to keep going.

As she grows more mature, she realizes that The Union is not necessarily the "good guys" in this situation. She is treated with fear and respect wherever she goes, which is a double-edged blade. On one side, she commands any room with her mere presence, and she is treated with the utmost respect wherever she goes. On the other side, she is constantly feared; people see a monster, a weapon, instead of a woman. She's pretty tired from all the killing that she's been doing for her entire life.

Rosette Yang was born in 1957 to a poor Asian family in Los Angeles. She had unlocked her abilities early in her life, but had accidentally seriously injured her mother when she was five. This brought attention to her, mostly from The Union, which had seen her potential and bought her from her parents, who were struggling to keep a child and tend to an injured mother for a wealthy sum of money. Her upbringing was rough; she was trained vigorously throughout her childhood to become the best, to be better than anybody else. The training was violent; they had pushed her body to the limit, then even further, through brutal training and sleepless nights. Insisting that was the only way she could climb to the top.
