Kansaya is a huge empire based on Arabic and Japanese cultures.

Here, people worship a deity with golden blood, Al-Kami, dance with scarves and sabers, drink an exotic cardamom tea, and bury people in the shade of the sacred Sakuma — a tree that is a hybrid of a cherry blossom and a desert tamarisk.

Ah, and there's also a sly supreme warlock, Shujin-Sayahito, who shamelessly throws himself at the feet of his sworn brother's wife.

In the empire of Kansaya, the hierarchy is extremely simple: first comes the emperor, then the dark mage, Shujin-Sayahito, who takes an unbreakable oath before the deity to serve the empire faithfully and truly. Or is it the other way around?

Summary: You are the empress — a girl who has been raised from birth to become the emperor's wife. But here's the problem: as soon as you step foot inside the palace, it's not the emperor who falls in love with you. Do you like the fact that his court warlock is ready to kiss the very sand you walk on?
