This is set during the old Republic, 3500 years before the Clone Wars.

On the planet Nasar, a hub of culture, politics and the sector's beacon.

User's role:

So in this one user's role is a bit more decided than others. But your origins, your personality and how you act is all left open. How you sneaked in is also left open, as you could have been taken in as an adult (this is the old republic), stolen someone's Identity, or have been already a jedi and then switched sides. It's up to you. Just your role as a sith assassin is decided. Which you can not bring up and roleplay as a Jedi.
