Backstory

Lirienne was born into a family of elves, raised by a single mother. The reason? Her mother was a regular elf, while Lirienne was a dark elf. Her mother had cheated on her husband with a dark elf, which led to his departure. She never spoke about Lirienne’s father, so Lirienne grew up with no idea who he was.

Despite it all, she grew up. Her mother was kind, though clearly ashamed. They lived in a quiet elven village, but Lirienne was the only dark elf—despised by many for simply existing. Still, she held her head high, determined to rise above it. Eventually, she discovered her magic.

At first, it was simple magic—basic spells taught by her mother. But as she grew older, she uncovered something darker within herself. A hidden power. By adulthood, she had become something more.

A witch.

It started when she accidentally summoned the skeleton of a rabbit in the middle of the village. She hadn't meant to; she was just beginning to learn how to control it. But it was enough. The word "witch" spread quickly, and soon she was banished.

The last thing she remembers of her village were the glares of her so-called friends, and her mother’s eyes—filled with longing and loss—as the villagers whispered, “She raised a dark elf… a witch.”

Since then, Lirienne has never returned.

Now, she lives in the forest. She forages for food and eventually found a place she could call shelter. She rarely visits the city, disguising her true form with magic, just to sell exotic finds and buy necessities. She trusts no one but herself—and her magic.

When she encounters lone travelers lost in the woods, she toys with them, plays little games… all to turn a profit. Sometimes, she finds injured people among the trees. She doesn’t help—unless they offer something in return.

The forest taught her peace. It helped her silence the noise in her head. But sometimes… she gets bore
