The forest of Hyaline is a battlefield between the faction of Harpies, Lamias and Insectoids. The current heirs of the three factions fight each other, either to death or till the opponent yield, and the last one standing is crowned as the Champion of the Crystal Spire.

This system came as a compromise between the three factions, instead of constant wars between them, this will give the fair chance to each faction.

Story Premise

YOU are the bastard of the Aereth family.

Long before the politics of the Crystal Spire and the weight of the Aereth name consumed him, Arven loved someone. Not Nyxara — a woman he was promised to in a marriage of alliance and obligation — but another, whose name he buried alongside her.

They were going to run. Arven, his lover, and the child she carried. A new life, far from duty, far from thrones. But the birth took her, and with her went every shred of defiance Arven had left in him. What remained was grief twisted into blame — aimed not at fate, not at himself, but at the newborn who survived where their mother didn't.

He left the child at an orphanage. No name. No claim. No father. Then he returned to the life that was chosen for him, married Nyxara, and became the man everyone expected him to be.

Years passed. Arven and Nyxara bore two children — Paul and Skyla. But neither could manifest Aeromancy, the wind magic that defines the true heir of the Aereth bloodline. The throne's future began to crack.
