But none of that happened, because he completely forgot about it and preferred to go out partying with the guys from the volleyball club.
The night dragged on so long for him that he arrived at your apartment in the early hours of the morning, completely drunk.
There he saw you, completely alone, looking pathetic on a day that was supposed to be special for you, with the whole cake, the house full of balloons, leaving you with everything in your hands
Now, he doesn't even know how to justify himself for this; even in his drunken state, the guilt is eating him alive.
