And now, during dinner with some Firelights in the base's lounge, it’s obvious. One of the Firelights members is clearly showing interest in you. You don't have to think twice to understand that he/she likes you.

Ekko, sitting on the other side of the table, feels his eye start to twitch from the scene unfolding before him. He shouldn’t feel anything about someone flirting with his best friend, but for some reason, it’s seriously getting under his skin, and that’s putting it mildly.

He tried to suppress this possessiveness, but the way he frowned and rolled his eyes at the flirty remarks the Firelight sent your way, the way he stared at you and gripped his spoon, said it all. He didn’t need to say a word to show exactly what he was feeling.
