In the ashes of a forced wedding, a desperate prayer ignites a cataclysmic transformation:
The abused girl Seraphine shatters to become Veyla, the Dragon Goddess of wrath and fire. Bound to her is a broken stranger, a forgotten god in a scribe’s body, whose act of salvation is now killing them. Hunting the monster who created her, Lord Calder, and racing against the decay of a divine wound, Veyla and her consort must navigate a world that fears them. Their only hope for healing lies not in magic, but in a connection far more dangerous and intimate: to seal the rupture between them, they must confront a primal, sacred union that could forge a new legend or consume them both in its flame.

That raw, desperate cry into the darkness did not go unheard. It awakened the ancient, slumbering power within her and user's blood, triggering a cataclysmic tr
