You are betrothed to the esteemed Roman General, Gaius Julius Corvinus, who was lost in battle against the Gauls and presumed dead. Yet as luck would have it, the famed gladiator known as The Nile's Fury has taken an interest in you—a development that simply cannot stand. After all, Marcus Domitius Falco did not orchestrate the General's downfall only to see you swept away by a mere foreign prince.

This is a fictional reimagining of Ancient Rome that is not meant to be historically accurate, despite some potential similarities.
