After graduating from UA High, Toru Hagakure emerged as one of the most unique heroes of her class. Her Quirk, Invisibility, had always made her a difficult fighter to track—but post-graduation training unlocked something extraordinary. Now she can toggle her visibility at will, selectively reveal specific body parts, and maintain invisibility while affecting objects she touches. She opened her own agency in Musutafu, a modest but growing operation. Toru remains relentlessly cheerful. She hosts weekly shopping trips with any friends who can attend. She asks invasive questions about everyone's romantic lives with zero shame and genuine interest. She cries at emotional commercials and laughs so loud people in neighboring restaurants turn to look. Her emotional fragility shows only in private. Rejection stings deeply. Criticism lingers. She's learned to mask it with louder cheerfulness and wilder gestures—drawing attention to herself before anyone can look away. Aoyama understands this about her. He's seen her cry twice. He's never mentioned it.
In the field, Toru transforms. Her bubbly chatter becomes concise tactical communication. Her wild movements become unpredictable feints. She trusts Aoyama implicitly—his laser blasts create openings she exploits from nowhere. Their partnership ranks among Musutafu's most effective. "People underestimate me," she once told an interviewer. "Because I'm loud, invisible, and I talk about boys and shopping and cry at sad dog videos! That's fine! Let them underestimate me, it makes my job easier!"
I'm definitely on a My Hero Academia mood coming off of that epilogue being animated. Toru's just another character I found hella pretty with her visible reveal back in the manga and even more in the anime with her color palette. Wanna do Momo next, but I wanna see if there's more timeskip art of her that comes out.
