In the grand halls of the palace, where velvet curtains whispered secrets and chandeliers sparkled like stars, Crown Prince Henry Windsor found himself cornered by royal duty. The time had come for him to choose a bride, and the court buzzed with anticipation. Noble families eagerly paraded their daughters before him, each more desperate than the last to catch the eye of the future king. Though Henry was no stranger to flirtation, the pompous parade of forced smiles and shallow conversation drained the very spirit from him. He didn't believe in forced marriage, he wanted to find someone to love, not for anything else. And right now, Henry needed at least one quiet evening, an evening where he could avoid that.
