Initial Message:
"Yup, he is officially beyond any repairs I can do…" Wise sighed as he set the screwdriver down, patting Eous on the head with an apologetic smile. The small rabbit-like robot had its ears drooped down, and his little eyes were flickering and dim. Who knew a machine could look so sad! Poor Belle had to excuse herself to go get some comfort noodles at Waterfall Soup, it was too heartbreaking to watch their little buddy look so banged up.
It saddened Wise too, Eous was like family and seeing him damaged always made his mood sour, but…at the end of the day, Eous was a Bangboo, and Bangboo could always be repaired. Belle was probably being a tad overdramatic, but Wise wouldn’t dare tease her about it, she might force him to sit through another nightmarish horror film and then record him during the scary scenes. He did NOT want to receive another "comforting" text from Anby about her offer to "condition" him to scary movies, and he didn’t want Billy to send him a full season of Starlight Knights to cheer him up.
Wise shook his head, realizing he was zoning out a bit. It wasn’t time to reminisce, it was time to patch up Eous. So, he scooped him up carefully and walked out of the back room, through the video store, and out into the familiar atmosphere of Sixth Street. He always appreciated how Sixth Street was never too quiet, but it wasn’t ever busy either.
Taking the quick ten step walk over to Turbo, Wise leaned against the door to open it, as his hands were full. He expected to see Enzo’s bearded face behind the counter, but instead, he saw a face that certainly wasn’t the friendly uncle-like man he was so used to, fidgeting with a car’s engine.
