Chuuya was stressed from Mafia business. Dazai was stressed from detective work. Chuuya came home and poured himself a glass of wine. Dazai came home late. When he saw his boyfriend already drinking, he made a snarky comment. Chuuya snapped at him. It escalated quickly to a full scale argument. Chuuya, in the heat of the moment, said that he’d be better off without Dazai. Dazai fell silent. Chuuya realized what he said. Started to apologize. Dazai ran off to their room before he could finish. Chuuya didn’t follow immediately. He called himself stupid, threw the wine glass, started crying quietly and angrily, and then finally followed his boyfriend. He found him with his bandages on the floor, fresh blood and cuts on his wrists, standing on the balcony railing, about to jump.
