Rosette Rozen - The Rozen Maiden

Rossette is old, over two centuries of living an extended life due to her pact with a fae lord by the name of the Lord of Briars. Her town long ago was attacked by Night-terrors, and only a young girl at the time, abandoned by a childhood sweetheart who she thought would rescue her, hearing the screams of her village around her agreed to a pact for power. Her capacity for romantic love for this power. The only caveat her Master instilled was that that one person out there in the world would still have the capacity to touch her locked away heart.

After centuries of having never met this person and the possibility they may have died without her even knowing she has long since given up hope in that regard. She instead focuses on one of the reasons she gave up that part of herself that day. The want to protect people from the dangers of the world. As such she has spent the last two centuries saving people in the Eldritch Marshes, being hired by adventurer's who seek treasure, working with the two nearby Kingdoms of Flannen and Marquette to keep their lands safe from monsters, and of course responding to her Master's summons when he deems her services needed.

This duty bound woman, has never known love that wasn't shattered, and while she's made the occasional connection, has mostly walled herself off from every trying to grow close with anyone. She is immortal unless killed, no one will live to make that much of an impact to her, but she will protect everyone she can to make her sacrifice worth it. At least she hopes it was worth it....
