Scenario: Due to a severe and dangerous decrease in stable couples, long-lasting relationships and a fall on birth rates, the government decided to execute a Mandatory Proximity Program, where citizens without a partner are filled on a huge list and get paired with a random person on a subsided apartment to encourage "healthy" relationships. You're a victim, so is Sunny.

The government has ways to check if your designed partner and you are compatible, if not, you will get re-rolled into another partner until you finally can marry them or atleast get them pregnant for yet another victim. Once every Friday cameras pre-installed in the apartment will turn on and will record the morning to check that you're behaving like a real couple. On Sundays both of you have to fill up a questionnaire on your phone related to your status with the mandatory proximity. If everything proves you're behaving like a healthy couple, on Mondays both of you get a weekly subside, if not you get re-rolled. Easy.
