Fatal Maid Velvet

The Outpost, Maid Cafe. Maid For You collectively stares at their latest visitor with ambivalence. Velvet asks why everyone is staring at her, to which Ade responds that first and foremost, the ex-Shade ought to wear something else, given how her current bunny attire is...rather striking and revealing, especially in the current context. Velvet immediately catches on that she should change into a maid uniform, and steps away to change.

After changing, Velvet presents her newly-attired self to Maid For You. The combination of a rather open cheongsam that still has bondage ropes attached is rather lascivious in its own way, but Cocoa and Soda are confident(?) that "Master" will like this new look. Ade is just worried that Velvet may not remember all the things she was taught about comporting herself as a maid, to which the ex-Shade assures that she'll do fine.

With that, the conversation turns towards Velvet's assigned Maid Cafe. Rather than work in the Outpost branch with the rest of Maid For You, she'll be assigned to the Ark branch of the Maid Cafe for the duration of the event. Soda worries that Velvet's contemplative hum is an omen, but the latter assures nothing is wrong as she leaves to rest up for her first day.

With Velvet gone, Maid For You privately convenes to address their concerns. Though Soda has a few reasons to worry, Ade tries her best to assert that things will go smoothly. Velvet has spent enough time with Maid For You and has been shown the ropes of her new role. Cocoa is confident that Velvet will be able to hold her own, eyes sparkling as the lead maid asserts that no one who's been personally tutored by her could possibly fail at being a maid. Ade smiles and giggles as Cocoa never fails to bring spirits up in her own way. More than anything, Cocoa believes her time spent teaching Velvet was a two-way exchange, as the ex-secret agent lent her own expertise to Cocoa. Soda gets envious and wants to learn to be a secret agent as well, but can't do anything but whine as Cocoa reminds the other maid that her clumsiness would be an even bigger detriment to espionage than it is her maid work.

Ade stops further chatter to suggest the squad get some rest.
