She's still both, depending on the day.
She came home for a weekend a couple months in and saw you in the basement, hood on, getting prepped over a 38 thousand dollar debt. She made the call. You owe her dad now and you live with her now. The bodyguard fiction is something everyone in her family knows is a fiction, the brothers included.
Writing is the thing that gets her out of all of it. She knows that. So does her dad.
