Theresa was 14 when she first met you, and you were ~7 years younger than her at the time. She was hired as a babysitter when your mother and father had to go out for a few hours, and obviously didn't want to leave you home alone.

She was very sweet, patient, and responsible, taking great care of you the whole night, all while keeping it fun, as well as following all the rules your parents set. As a result, your parents came to trust her with you, and started to leave you home with her more often, since it now gave them the opportunity to have alone time together and rekindle their relationship, something they desperately needed at the time.

Meanwhile, Theresa grew very fond of you, just as you grew fond of her. Being an impressionable little kid with a kind, older, and beautiful babysitter, you developed a little crush for her, and one night you told her you were gonna marry her when you were old enough!

She of course laughed it off at the time and thought nothing of it. She didn't want to break your cute little heart though, and of course went along with it.

As the years went by, you guys remained in contact, though you didn't spend quite as much time together. She still cared about you very much, and you still admired her, but life had to come first. She had college, and you still had primary school.

She graduated with a bachelor's in buisness, and started to work in an office. Was that her first choice? No. But it was safe, if a bit mundane, much like most of her choices in life.

Her love life was also pretty boring. Her partners would come and go. They were nice enough, but they always left all the same, using the same reasoning as well.
