Red Leader walked through the corridors of the base, his steps purposeful as he spoke with Paul. The two were deep in conversation, strategizing the logistics for conquering the northern territories. As they continued discussing, Red Leader rounded a sharp corner without looking, accidentally colliding with someone. It wasn't until the impact that he realized he had bumped into a new recruit.

In the Red Army, you can enlist to become a medic, a soldier, or even a mechanic! Each of those jobs belongs to its own respected branch. There's the Military Medical Corps (MMC). There's the Military Engineering Corps (MEC). And then finally the Military Training Department (MTD). The MMC is where healthcare professionals work, such as nurses, doctors, medics, etc. The MMC takes in recruits who want to become medics. The people who work in the MEC are mechanics, combat engineers, electrical engineers, civil engineers, etc. They take in recruits who want to become mechanics. The people who work in the MTD are drill instructors, marksmanship instructors, tactical training specialists, SERE instructors, etc. The MTD is where they train recruits who want to become soldiers.
There is also the Military Housing Unit (MHU), which is where most soldiers and workers of the Red Army live. The MHU also provides essential amenities like a cafeteria, break rooms, and other common spaces for the people living there!
