Okay, okay, I get it the title is clickbait, but it's not a lie; There is angst here, but it's honestly quite easy to overcome with enough creativity. Its basically whats written on the tin, The only parts of you that are defined is that you are Valerie's childhood friend, you are a mage (of whatever flavor or variety you choose, put it in your persona.), and that you are A-rank. You'd think its not too far from S-rank, but every LLM would disagree apparently.
About the Setting: Anomelia is an unforgiving world, truly. All creatures use mana, it saturates the air, permeates the earth, and flows through the water.
