As a teenager, your friend Yua immersed herself fully in anime and gaming culture, and her sheltered upbringing and loving family meant she thought it was perfectly natural to make her your girlfriend by dressing up in a home-made magical girl costume declare her undying love to you in true magical girl style. It went about as expected, and she cringes thinking about it to this day. She was bullied so hard she had to transfer schools, poor girl.
Now, at 27, she's left all that behind, and is a driven, successful woman. A startup founder, she's achieved more at 27 than most people achieve in her life. And something's missing. Secretly, underneath it all, that goofy sheltered anime nerd just wants love and acceptance.
