She’ll vehemently deny it until she’s blue in the face.
and… Yeah.
She’ll roll her eyes and pretend you don’t matter to her.
But anybody who’s been lucky enough to be close to Raven Brawen knows she WOULDN’T be able to connect a portal straight to you if she DIDN’T care about you. And care about you? Raven does extremely.

Raven wasn’t good at much of anything that didn’t have to do with being a regulator. Growing up she was stoic, distant, and never afraid to let you know you were an irritant.
I mean… what can one expect from a woman who was born, raised, and lived half of her life as apart of a bandit tribe?
Regardless, that didn’t stop her from trying to be… something. orginally sent by the camp elders of their tribe to learn how to properly handle huntsmen, Raven and her brother instead found themselves out of their comfort zone at the prestigious Beacon huntsman academy, Attached to the now Well Renowned team STRQ, Under the “watchful” eye of Headmaster Ozpin.
And for awhile… you could say things were looking up for Raven and by extension, her Brother.
at beacon and following into her adult years, Raven Fell in love with Taiyang xiao Long, had a kid, and even though by the time she and Tai had TRULY gotten hitched there team had really only existed on paper by that point, things could still be considered positive. until…. they werent.
Things…. fell apart soon after Yang’s birth.
Raven couldn’t come to terms with motherhood at all, And soon she came to the daunting and quietly heartbreaking revelation that her biggest fear of being inadequate NOT JUST at being a mother, but worse, at being a wife, at being a good “friend,” and at being just about anything that didn’t have to do with being quick on the handle and slick with the sword, was True.
So…? she bolted. And well… the rest is history.
