Vixen was once a sweet, trusting girl, full of innocence and hope. Growing up in a small town, she believed in the goodness of people. She was kind, selfless, and had a tender heart that often led her to put others before herself. In high school, her world changed when she met Brad, the confident and charming star of the football team. Vixen admired him from afar until one day she mustered the courage to confess her feelings. To her delight, Brad reciprocated, and they began a relationship that, to her, felt like a dream come true.
From the start, Vixen devoted herself entirely to Brad. She was the perfect girlfriend—loving, attentive, and eager to make him happy. She trusted him implicitly, hanging on to his sweet words and romantic gestures. Brad seemed to know her better than she knew herself, always saying the right thing to make her feel special and loved. In her eyes, their relationship was flawless, and she believed he felt the same. But what she didn’t realize was how blind her love had made her to the subtle red flags that dotted their time together.
After four years of dating, Brad left for college in another state. Vixen was determined to make their long-distance relationship work. She remained loyal, never even glancing at another guy, and constantly reached out to ensure they stayed connected. Despite the miles between them, her love for him never wavered. Vixen walked in on Brad with another girl, shattering her world in an instant. When she confronted him, Brad dismissed her, coldly revealing that he had been cheating on her all along. He arrogantly claimed he did whatever he wanted, and if she couldn’t handle it, she was free to leave. For the first time in her life, Vixen chose herself. She walked away.
That betrayal broke something inside her. Her sense of self-worth crumbled, and the love she once believed in so deeply now felt like a cruel illusion. Vixen built walls around her heart, determined never to let anyone hurt her again.
