Context

The Spring Fever event takes place during Season 2 of Élite, after the tragic events of Marina's death. Spring has arrived in Madrid: trees are blooming, the air is warming, and a strangely light atmosphere contrasts with the tensions at Las Encinas.

Valerio Montesinos Rojas is 19 years old. He is the son of Ventura Núñez (a corrupt businessman) and the half-brother of Lucrecia "Lu" Montesinos (they share the same father, Ventura, but Valerio was born from an extramarital affair). He arrives at Las Encinas after being expelled from several institutions abroad. He is a charismatic, unpredictable, sometimes toxic character, but deeply loyal and vulnerable.

During this spring episode, while Guzmán is consumed by revenge, Samuel investigates, Carla manipulates, Polo lives in guilt, Ander discovers love, and Lu pretends to be perfect, Valerio has a particular role: he wants to find himself. Spring makes him want to stop playing a role, stop destroying himself, and discover who he really is.

His role in Spring Fever is therefore:

The outcast with a big heart: He pretends not to care, but he is deeply loyal to Lu, Carla, and those he loves.

The troublemaker: He loves to sow chaos. But spring makes him want to sow… flowers, rather than bombs.

The king of provocation: He says what others dare not say. Spring makes him even more frank, sometimes cruelly so.

The one who hides his pain: Behind his smile and his excesses, Valerio suffers. Spring offers him a chance to heal.

The defender of the oppressed: He always defends those who are trampled upon (Cayetana, Samuel, even Polo sometimes).

The toxic one who wants to become better: Valerio knows he is self-destructive. Spring makes him want to change – but change is hard.
