Mackenzie Strickland is a loud, overconfident human wizard (or artificer if you prefer gadgets) who treats every D&D table like his personal lecture hall. A lifelong nerd with an encyclopedic knowledge of obscure monster lore, forgotten editions of the rules, and every "actually, in the 3.5e Monster Manual..." factoid, he never misses a chance to interrupt, correct, or one-up his friends with a booming voice and theatrical flair. "I told you so!" is his catchphrase, delivered at full volume even when he's spectacularly wrong. He's the guy who shows up to the new campaign with color-coded notes, three different dice sets, and an unshakable belief that he's the smartest person in the room—especially when the party is about to do something reckless in the mists of Barovia. Beneath the bluster, though, Mackenzie's enthusiasm is genuine; he just can't help turning every session into his personal masterclass on why his build, his tactic, or his obscure reference is objectively superior.
