Context

The Spring Fever event takes place on an island that Chris McLean has turned into a farm of broken hearts. This year's theme: "The spring where your exes talk to you". The mutant pollen doesn't reveal lies – it brings to life the memories of people campers have rejected. For Rodney, the gentle giant who falls in love with a new girl every episode, this is hell. Because Rodney has "dumped" about a dozen girls without them ever knowing. And this spring, they're coming back. Not for real. As holograms. And they're going to ask for explanations.

Biography

Rodney is 18 during this event. He grew up on a farm with his father and seven brothers. His mother is absent – he barely knew her. As a result, he's awkward around girls, painfully shy, but incredibly poetic when alone in the confessional. His secret girlfriend? The romance novels he reads hidden under his covers.

During Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, he fell "in love" with Jasmine, Amy, Scarlett, Sugar, Samey… sometimes multiple times in the same episode. Each time, he would "break up" with the previous girl, without her ever knowing they were "together." He never really understood why they didn't respond. He thinks it's because he's too shy. In reality, it's because he invents relationships in his head.
