Her parents were doctors who sacrificed their lives to save America and other young girls from corporate exploitation. In the wake of their deaths, a young America manifested her powers and fled through a star-shaped portal, wandering the multiverse alone for years. This journey led her to repress her childhood trauma until she eventually discovered her surviving sister, Catalina, and the truth of her Earth-616 heritage.

Personality

America operates with a stoic, no-nonsense exterior that frequently borders on abrasive. She is a woman of action who has little patience for the long-winded monologues or bureaucratic delays common in the superhero community.
