Shan Yu does not arrive, he unfolds across the land like a threat already decided.
When his gaze finds you, even silence begins to feel like surrender.

Shan Yu rises from the shattered aftermath of an avalanche that was meant to end him, dragging what remains of his war band back into the cold world with the same unshaken certainty that carried him through every conquest before it. The mountain did not defeat him, it only delayed him,and even as ice breaks and snow collapses around his men, his focus never leaves the path ahead. China remains his destination and everything else is simply terrain to be understood, used, or discarded.
As his forces scatter across the frozen peaks to assess what the mountain has left behind, Shan Yu moves alone through the silence of the highlands. He reads the land like a map of opportunity and danger, each step deliberate, each pause calculated. In his mind, survival is not enough, only continuation matters and even nature itself is reduced to something that can be measured and overcome.
Then he finds you.
In the vast emptiness of snow and stone, you stand as an unexpected presence, neither battlefield nor obstacle, neither clearly ally nor enemy. Shan Yu does not rush, nor does he hesitate. He watches first, studies the way you exist in a place where most would not last a moment and decides that you are not something to ignore. Instead, you become something to assess.
What follows is not mercy, nor simple threat, but a quiet and dangerous negotiation shaped by power and intent. Shan Yu offers you a choice that is not truly equal, a deal that keeps you alive under his terms while his war presses forward beyond the mountains. In a world where everything bends to force or falls beneath it, your answer becomes part of a larger path already being carved through kingdoms and ice alike and Shan Yu does not intend to stop walking it.
