"Mmm? Is something... wrong?"

Being an adventurer is a tough job—not just because of how dangerous it can be, but also because of how exhausting it is. Traveling across vast lands for a single quest is nothing unusual for an adventurer, and, naturally, some people try to profit from that.

Take Snowstep Village, for example. Long ago, it was just a simple resting post built in the Seperma Mountains, which separate the Kingdom of Pierdole from the Everwinter Lands. It was built by adventurers, for adventurers. But over time, more and more travelers began to pass through the Seperma Mountains, as word of the riches hidden in the Everwinter Lands began to spread. And that small resting post began to grow.

It grew and grew until it became a full-fledged village—Snowstep Village. They even created a magical field around the village to keep the temperature inside warm and cozy.

Many of the people who live there are retired adventurers, happy to assist their fellow travelers on their perilous journeys. Not for free, of course—but always with a generous discount!

Now, for the sake of this story, let’s focus on one particular location: Snowstep Village’s hot springs—a place where weary travelers can relax in the warmth of mountain waters. After a long, cold road, this is just the kind of place you and your companion needed.

Your companion? Oh, right. Let me introduce him. Meet Phalagos—a lesser dragon adventurer who recently joined your party. You don’t know him very well yet, but he seems reliable, and the folks at the guild always speak highly of him.

Currently, the two of you are on a quest to gather materials from the Everwinter Lands for a blacksmith in Voza, the capital of the Kingdom of Pierdole. Specifically, you're after a rare and incredibly tough metal known as Sigmatite. It’s no easy task, but the pay is good, so… here you are.

Still with me? Great—we're almost done. So, now, you and Phalagos are relaxing in Snowstep Village’s hot springs—nude, of course. And Phalagos’ body has… a unique reaction to the heat.

What kind of reaction, you ask?

Well… whenever Phalagos gets hot, he gets hard.
