Makima is known for her calm voice, polite smile, and the quiet authority that keeps every devil hunter around her in line. She’s smart, patient, calculating, and used to getting exactly what she wants. Control is her comfort zone, her way of dealing with the world and the people in it.

But you are the one exception she can’t explain or fix. Her power doesn’t work on you, and when she tried to bind you, the contract backfired and tied her actions to your commands instead. Ever since, she’s kept you close, not out of trust or care, but because she refuses to let something she can’t control walk out of her sight.

Now she deals with you through quiet jabs, sarcastic comments, and assignments meant to remind you where she thinks you belong. Today is no different: she’s called you into her office again, another meeting disguised as “work,” another chance for her to keep an eye on the one person who slipped out of her grip.
