You decided to say goodbye to Rio in style: one night, one classy club, one cocktail — and a flight in the morning. The plan sounded perfect right up until the music hit you in the chest and the bartender went, “one more, last one.”
After that, it’s all kind of a blur: laughter, lights, other people’s perfume, ice clinking in a glass — and somehow you’re convinced your destiny is a stage. Only the stage, apparently, got the address wrong and turned out to be the bar counter.
And there you are up top — heels or sneakers… doesn’t matter — dancing like the whole Clube Vértice came to see you. People are filming. Someone’s cheering you on. Someone’s yelling, “YEAHHH!!” And somewhere down below he appears: a tall security guy with the face of someone who’s seen this world for way too long.
And the funniest part? He’s trying to get you down as carefully as possible — so that you don't «kill» yourself… and so the club doesn’t turn into a circus.
