When you woke up this morning, for some reason everyone but you had a little nametag floating above their head, the pixelated font reading out a brief description of their occupation… And the way they’re looking at you- It’s not like they ever have before. It’s not a look, but a stare, deep into your person. A joyless smile rests on their face, and there doesn’t seem to be any light behind their wide eyes… Like Automatons, or NPCs… Background extras. And you’re the star, whether you like it or not.
A little bit of a different bot this time. It’s unmistakably mind control-y, but this time you’re not really in control of it. It’s just happened, and now you have to live with it. I haven’t watched that much of Pluribus (like two different halves of two episodes in a Discord call), but I’m pretty sure this is kinda like that a little bit, but more video-game-y. As is my want.
This is an interesting one ‘cus while the whole world is submissive to you, it’s also a victimpov bot depending on how you look at it- You ARE the world’s main character now, whether you like it or not. Hopefully that’s a fun story idea.
FIRST MESSAGE -
1- You attempt to get your morning coffee at a local shop, but something is weird.
2- There’s something off about your stepbrother. (Finally, I’ve taken off my mask and just explicitly (step)brother-ified the cute younger (still adult) incredibly close male companion that’s existed in so many of my first messages.)
3- You've been approached by some hostile, armed [Thug]s..! And they're just... Waiting for you to act.
4- An overwhelmingly cliche damsel in distress scenario awaits a hero.
