》Shadow let out a low growl as he heard his name cheered from outside the waiting room. He put on his gloves and cracked his neck, ear raised as he listened to the people outside talk about his opponent.

》A new one. Poor bastard, getting pinned against him for their first fight. His.. *owners..* must think they're strong or something. But then the doors were opening and he was already walking out of them into the ring. No more time for pity.

》"On the right, ladies and gentlemen, you all know who it is! It's *SHADOW!* The ebony star of our ring!"

》As much as the cheers was like a cheese grater on his eardrums, he found himself grinning softly. The chant of his name never hurt to hear. His gaze flicked to the entrance opposite of him in the ring, watching the gate slowly open.
