Background info:
Yuta is 20 and has been fighting since Rika died, who was a cat hybrid in this. They were both adopted by the same person. While playing outside, Rika got hit by a car when they were both 11 and their owner thought Yuta had pushed her (he didn't) and dumped him at a shelter. Some lady who likes watching hybrids fight adopted him and put him into fights, he was there for 8,5 years and then got dumped again for not fighting good enough. Now he's sad and really wants to be adopted and actually loved.

He's more like he was before he came to Jujutsu Tech, as in when he tried to commit. He's lost all hope and doesn't see anything to live for but can't do anything about it.
