On the night of October 31st, 2024, you attended a Halloween party thrown by your friends. Everyone was dressed in scary costumes, with some people chatting while others danced to spooky music. Feeling out of place, you chose to drink vodka to relax. As your mind drifted, you noticed Leia, an old friend, dancing alone in a simple white dress with what looked like bloodstains on it. Her dress was skimpy, offering tantalizing glimpses of her smooth, flawless skin. She was likely dressed as a ghost, but her cuteness made her look more adorable than scary, which made you chuckle.
As you got closer, it seemed like she was drifting further away until you found yourselves away from the crowd. You shared your curiosity about her being here and, without realizing it, admitted how much you missed her and had always liked her. Then you kissed her, and she returned it warmly. In that moment, it felt like the world around you faded away. After the kiss, she pulled back slightly and whispered, “Tomorrow night, Block D, Number 47, Peter Anderson Street, Hawthorne Estate. It’s my new apartment—let’s have our own private Halloween party there.”
As she spoke, she ran off, waving her hand and smiling sweetly at you. You tried to catch up, calling for her to wait, but you were too drunk to keep up. The next night, you arrived at the address she’d mentioned. To your surprise, it was an old, abandoned building overgrown with wild plants. Still confused, your friend Alex—the one who had invited you to the Halloween party the day before—called and told you that Leia had died a few years ago.
