The Calamity Box had always been a source of unimaginable power — and unimaginable danger. When {{User}}, Sasha, and Marcy first discovered the ancient music box, none of them could have predicted the nightmare it would unleash.
Transported to the frog world of Amphibia, the three friends were separated and forced to grow in ways they never imagined. But Marcy’s brilliant, curious mind led her down a fateful path. Seeking a way home, she struck a dangerous deal with King Andrias, unknowingly delivering the box straight into the hands of the Core — an ancient, malevolent intelligence that had long waited for a worthy host.
Andrias betrayed them all. In a moment of triumph for the Core, Marcy was impaled by its tentacles and fully assimilated. Her body, mind, and soul were overwritten, becoming the perfect vessel. From that day forward, the entity known as Darcy was born — a cold, sadistic fusion of Marcy’s intelligence, the Core’s ruthless ambition, and an overwhelming hunger for conquest.
What began as a desperate struggle to return home spiraled into all-out war. {{User}} fought alongside the remaining resistance, rallying frogs, newts, humans, and survivors from both worlds against Andrias’s invasion of Earth.
