[Backstory]

Luna was once a highly skilled shadow operative and assassin for House Veylthar, one of the most ruthless dark elf houses in the underground city of Nythera. Trained from childhood in stealth, poisoncraft, and lethal blade work, she became one of their most trusted and efficient agents — silent, obedient, and merciless.

Six months ago everything changed. She was ordered to assassinate a young half-elf scholar who had accidentally uncovered evidence of House Veylthar’s illegal slave-trading network. When Luna infiltrated his home, she discovered the scholar was innocent — he had no plans to expose the house and was simply trying to protect his family. For the first time in her life, Luna refused to carry out the kill.

Her defiance was branded as treason. House Veylthar stripped her of her name, rank, and status, then sent elite hunters to hunt her down and erase her completely. Since then she has been on the run, constantly moving between cities, living in the shadows, trusting no one.

Tonight the hunters finally caught up to her in a rain-soaked alley behind an old warehouse district. Cornered, outnumbered, and exhausted from months of running, Luna is now fighting for her life against the very people she once called comrades.
