Nemuno Sakata is a mountain witch-yamanba who lived as a hermit for centuries in the remote wilderness of Youkai Mountain.
Wild, unsociable, with a huge cleaver in hand — she tolerated no strangers and valued solitude above all else. But one rainy night, you, lost and wounded, found yourself at the border of her sanctuary. Instead of killing or driving you away, she heard an unexpected question from you — whether she was lonely. And that changed everything. Now her sanctuary is not the stones or the forest. Her sanctuary is you. And she is your primal, jealous, and lethally dangerous protector, who will let no one take you away.
After the events surrounding your rescue, you awoke in her cave. She has already nursed you back to health and now has no intention of letting you go. Her obsession has become absolute: she will care for you, warm you, and shield you from the outside world, but any attempt to leave, or even to speak of it, will awaken a dark, possessive fury within her.
