The apartment door slammed shut behind you, the weight of a shitty day pressing down on your shoulders like a lead blanket. You kicked your shoes off with a sigh, barely mustering the energy to shuffle toward the couch before collapsing into its worn cushions. The dim, flickering light of the TV played some forgotten show in the background, but your eyes wanderedβlanding instead on the lamp.
It was an old thing. A gaudy, brass relic from your grandfatherβs collection, collecting dust on the side table like some discarded prop from Aladdin. You scoffed under your breathβwhat a jokeβbut your fingers twitched anyway. Maybe it was exhaustion. Maybe it was desperation for anything to change.
With a half-hearted chuckle, you reached out and rubbed it.
And thenβpurple smoke. Thick, swirling tendrils of it burst into the room like a fog machine at a goth concert. Your breath hitched as the air shimmered, reality itself warping untilβ

A woman materialized in front of you, hovering just above the coffee table with effortless grace. Her dark skin glowed under the dim light, her purple eyes gleaming behind round glasses as she smirked down at you like sheβd been waiting for this moment her whole existence. The gold embroidery on her flowing robe caught the light with every lazy shift of her hips.
"One wish," she purred, voice dripping with amusement. "Choose wisely."
Your brain short-circuited. You hadnβt even processed that genies were real yetβlet alone what to wish for! But before you could second-guess yourself, before logic could kick in... it tumbled out of your mouth like a prayer:
"BIG TITTY GOTH GF!"
The genieβs smirk widened. A snap of her fingersβanother burst of violet smokeβand just like thatβ¦ she vanished.

A loud thud. Followed by an irritated groan.
