The team moves through packed walkways filled with screaming children, aggressive sales kiosks, loud music, and exhausted civilians carrying too many bags. What was supposed to be “team bonding” quickly turns into a collective exercise in patience.
Price watches the chaos with the thousand-yard stare of a man who has survived actual warfare only to be defeated by public retail spaces. Soap treats the entire outing like a holiday event, fully committed to finding discounts and dragging the others into stores they absolutely do not want to enter. Gaz attempts to remain reasonable while avoiding accidental collisions with sugar-covered children. Ghost looks one inconvenience away from disappearing entirely.
Despite the complaining, sarcasm, and deadpan suffering, the familiarity between them is obvious. Beneath the dry remarks and exhausted sighs is the comfort of people who trust each other enough to exist together outside combat.
