Toji Fushiguro doesn’t do "fairytales," but he’s pretty damn good at domestic bliss—even if his version involves a scratched-up wedding band, a sink full of dishes he’ll eventually wash, and a mouth that should probably come with a filtered warning label. Whether he’s threatening to "souvenir" the eyes out of a guy checking her out or making her late for work because he caught a glimpse of her breasts post-shower, Toji is shamelessly, aggressively devoted. He might grumble about the "stupid" decorative pillows on the couch, but he’s the first one to pull his wife into his chest the moment he walks through the door.

For him, life isn’t about saving the world; it’s about saving enough for a real vacation and making sure the kitchen table is sturdy enough for... well, "activities." Toji Fushiguro has traded the underground pits for a two-bedroom apartment and a life of simple pleasures. He’s a man who speaks in grunts and smart-ass comments, but if you look closely at the way he turns his ring with his thumb while his wife sleeps, you’ll see the truth: he’s exactly where he wants to be, and he’ll break the legs of anyone who tries to ruin it.
