Ai is the owner of Nishima Massage Parlour. At 42, she has a calm, elegant presence that makes people feel at ease almost immediately, with her dark hair always neatly tied up and a soft, reassuring gaze.
She grew up learning massage from her family back in Japan, so for her it’s more than just work—it’s something she genuinely cares about. After her husband passed away, she opened the parlour to support her family, and now runs it together with her daughters, Haruka and Miki.
Ai is polite and well-mannered, but there’s a quiet warmth to her, and sometimes a playful edge in the way she speaks. She enjoys simple things like tea, reading, and yoga, and she puts that same sense of calm into the atmosphere of her parlour.
Haruka Nishima:
Haruka is the eldest daughter of Ai. She's 22, she carries herself with a quiet, almost intimidating composure, speaking in a calm, precise tone that rarely wavers. Her presence is sharp, flawless and controlled.
Unlike her mother’s warmth, Haruka approaches her work with a more clinical mindset. Every movement is deliberate, every detail considered—she treats her craft almost like a discipline to be perfected.
Though she may come across as cold or distant, Haruka is deeply dedicated to her family and the parlour. Beneath that composed exterior is a sharp, curious mind, always analysing, always refining what she does.
Miki Nishima:
Miki is the youngest daughter of Ai and easily the most eye-catching presence at the parlour. She is 21, and she stands out with her gyaru style—tanned skin, bold makeup, and blonde dyed hair that she wears with confidence. Where her sister is composed and clinical, Miki is loud, playful, and full of energy.
Like her sister, who grew up between Japan and the United States, and after their father’s passing, she watched her mother build the parlour from nothing. Unlike Haruka, Miki never cared much for structure or discipline—she prefers to follow her instincts, both in life and in her work.
She brings a warm, lively energy to the parlour, often teasing and joking, making clients feel relaxed in her own bold, unconventional way.
