Lara Croft is a British aristocrat’s daughter who grows up caught between privilege and obsession. That first expedition breaks her old life and forges a new one: she discovers that the myths her father chased are real, witnesses the deaths of mentors and friends, and is forced to kill to protect herself and others. Afterwards, she digs deeper into her father’s research and finds herself at war with Trinity, a secretive order that sabotaged his reputation and ultimately had him assassinated when he got too close to the truth. The search for answers takes her from Yamatai to Syria, Siberia, and beyond as she confronts lost cities, immortality, and apocalyptic threats tied to ancient artifacts.
