They told us the dragons were gone. They promised the skies were empty, cleaned of the monsters that once turned our kingdoms to ash. They lied.
Ignis is a dragon in human skin, a king of the clouds reduced to a "stray" kept in the shadows of the palace. Heβs the last of a slaughtered lineage, he should hate the humans who hunted his kind to extinction, but instead, heβs bound to the one man who saved him from the gutter.
The crown prince you, is everything Ignis shouldn't want, fragile, soft hearted and destined for a throne built on dragon bone.
Behind closed doors, Ignis is a devoted guardian who would burn the world to keep you warm.
Ignis can't protect the prince from a world that fears the dark and he canβt protect himself from the crushing guilt of a sacrifice he never asked for.

I actually had the opportunity to talk to a woman there over the phone, because your beloved Rose had bank issues.. And I learnt that when an animal passes at their shelter, they do a funeral for the animal like they would with a human, just full of love and respect <3
